One launcher for every DanceXR app
The new DanceXR Launcher finds your installed HD, LW, RT, and Native runtimes and starts them from one place. On a new PC, it can download and install the free HD and Native editions for you. It also checks DanceXR Discovery and DanceXR Operator, then offers install, update, or repair actions when needed.
The launcher is included with the 2026.9 Windows release packages.

Try DanceXR Native on your PC
DanceXR Native renders PMX and XPS characters on Windows, on desktop or in OpenXR VR. Since 2026.10, its raster renderer also supports DirectX 12 PCs without ray-tracing hardware, including integrated graphics. Full path tracing requires a ray-tracing-capable GPU. The free edition supports one character; activated Pro installations support multi-character scenes.

Activating your copy
Paid editions need to confirm your purchase before they unlock. Steam and Google Play purchases activate automatically on first launch — nothing to do. Everything else (Itch.io PC, Itch.io Android, Quest, Patreon Creator) needs a quick one-time activation step from the system menu.
Per device & per build
License scope
Each license is tied to the specific device and build variant you activated on. To run DanceXR on a second machine — or to run a different build (HD, LW, RT, Creator) on the same machine — just go through the activation flow again. No extra cost. The same applies after major hardware or OS upgrades.
